Friday night was incredibly good for lottery players thanks to massive jackpots being landed in both the EuroMillions and EuroJackpot games. The final value of the Irish Lottery jackpot was €9.81 million, which was slightly less than the €10 million that had been estimated. Three tickets matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to secure a second-tier prize of €25,000 each and 72 tickets won €1,482 each by matching five main numbers only. The $130 million jackpot that was available in the Powerball game last night attracted plenty of casual players in addition to the regulars, but none of the participants managed to win it. Looking on the brighter side, six tickets matched the five main numbers without the Powerball to win a life-changing consolation prize of $1 million each, and there were 556,682 prizes won in total. The next Powerball game this Wednesday will offer a jackpot of around $151 million, which is a whopping $41 million more than we were looking forward to this time last week!
